Welcome to ebidNZ (the “Platform”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.
Eligibility

Registration and Account Security
● Users must create an account to participate in auctions.
● It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your login details.
● Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Services Offered
ebidNZ facilitates the online auction of properties. We are not real estate agents, and we do not represent buyers or sellers.
Auction Rules
● All bids are binding. By placing a bid, you agree to complete the purchase if your bid is successful.
● Sellers set the reserve price and conditions for their property.
● The Platform reserves the right to suspend or cancel auctions if necessary.
Fees and Payments
● Listing and transaction fees may apply. These will be clearly communicated before use.
● Payments are handled via secure third-party providers.
● We are not responsible for payment disputes between users.
User Conduct
Users agree not to:
● Provide false or misleading information.
● Engage in fraudulent activities or interfere with the operation of the Platform.
● Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
Content and Intellectual Property
● You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for the operation of the Platform.
● All Platform content, including logos and designs, is the property of ebidNZ.
Liability and Indemnity
● ebidNZ provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.
● We are not liable for disputes between users or any loss arising from the use of the Platform.
● You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your misuse of the Platform.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.
Change to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of changes.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
